Agostino Iacurci
Agostino Iacurci (born 1986) studied Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. His multidisciplinary practice spans painting, sculpture, wall painting, and installation, often driven by a site-specific approach. By reworking heterogeneous materials, Iacurci generates visions that interweave cultural history, personal memories, and literary references.
His work has been exhibited in major institutions and galleries worldwide, including GAMeC in Bergamo, Garage Bentivoglio in Bologna, PDC Gallery in Los Angeles, Robert Grunenberg in Berlin, and MACRO in Rome. Since 2009, he has gained international recognition for his monumental public installations, with recent commissions for the Museo d’arte Mendrisio (2025), Casa Italia at the Paris Olympic Games (2024), and large-scale projects in London, Montreal, and New Delhi.
A recipient of the Premio Ermanno Casoli (2024) and the New York Prize (2020-2022), Iacurci has participated in prestigious residencies such as the ISCP in New York. His distinct visual language has also led to collaborations with global brands and publishers, including Apple, Hermès, The New Yorker, and Penguin Books.
